It's difficult to watch your team lose; it's even more difficult to hear your coworkers gloat about how your team lost.

Are you people actually playing on these football teams or something? I don't understand how you can say it's "your" team when you're just passively watching as you sit on the couch. This is one of the strangest phenomenon that I've ever seen.

I feel bad for my co-worker who is a Chargers fan. That was brutal.

Take comfort in the words of RGIII. With all the hype about that Johnny Football nitwit, here's a man who gets it.
“I think that’s an excuse,” Griffin said when the idea of rustiness was raised postgame. “I’m responsible for the way I play. I didn’t play very well in the first half. That’s just the way it is. You move on from it. I’m not going to sit here and say I was rusty. I’ve got to be accountable and I’m going to be accountable for that. I didn’t play well in the first half. We came back and played better in the second half. We’ve just got to do it for 60 minutes.”
I'm wondering, though, if Shanahan wishes he had played RGIII in at least one preseason game.

Nah I think they made the right choice.
I just wish that the people we rely on to be solid had actually played well. Morris fumbling on the first play did not bode well. I'm just glad that no one is freaking out, and everyone took responsibility for the way the team played. I'm just chalking it up as an inauspicious start to a championship season.
